Attendance

  • Every student is expected to be present at the morning assembly.
  • Late comers and absentees from the school will not be admitted to their respective classes without the Principal’s signature on leave note.
  • Half-day leave will not be granted to students without an application signed by the parents. Once they come to the school they have to attend for the whole day. They are not allowed to go out of the school premises during school hours even during the recess time.
  • Parents and guardians are, therefore particularly requested to co-operated with the school by sending their wards on the specified date unless a written permission for an extension for leave has previously been obtained such permission, however, is granted only for grave reason.
  • No leave of absence is granted without a written application signed by the parents for authentic reasons. The school accepts no responsibility if a student is obliged to return home. Mere sending of an applications is not sufficient leave has to be sanctioned.
  • In case of illness, a Medical certificate must be produced within three days of a student’s absence. In case of doubt the school authorities may insist on being examined by a civil surgeon or school doctor. If a student continues to be absent for 10days without the written permission of the principal his/her name will be struck off the school rolls.
  • If a student does not have 75% attendances of the total number of working days, he/she will not be considered for promotion.
  • Pupils who fail to report to school on the 1st day of the school year, and have not given notice of their delay to the school office will have their names struck off the rolls and the vacancy caused will be duly filled. Subject to vacancies exiting / arising they will be considered for re-admission and full admission fee will be charged, parents/guardians are required to intimate the principal in written by registered post about delay.
  • If a student suffers from an infectious disease, parents should keep the child at home till the danger of infection has passed and a medical fitness certificate shall be presented on his/her return to school.
